I absolutely love using my Starbucks gift card. These cards are easily reloadable, and you can even load cards that you’ve received onto other cards. They offer great benefits at various levels of usage, as well. Personally, I can’t stand when I have four different gift cards all for the same store. Typically, I end up leaving small amounts on them and just never using them. Using my Starbucks gift card, I never have this problem! Plus, pretty soon I’ll be upgraded to the “Gold” level, having used my card over thirty times in a single year. With this, they’ll issue me a new personalized card. Another thing that I’ve noticed is that I get personalized recommendations for purchases, as well as other benefits to my e-mail since I registered my card through their website. All-in-all, I can’t say enough good things about this card!

I went to Starbucks yesterday morning to get a coffee. I had to wait a little bit longer than usual, but I didn't mind. I ordered and paid. My total seemed a little higher than I would have expected but I didn't give it too much thought. I just handed over my gift card. When offered a receipt I declined because I had recently checked how much was left on my card and didn't feel like I needed it. Then a couple minutes later I was handed the wrong drink. I had ordered a grande latte and they charged me for and made me a venti iced coffee of some kind. I told them what I had actually ordered and the girl who had rung me up overheard. Without saying anything to me, she put the full charge back onto my gift card, then gave me a receipt showing me she had done that. She and the other employees insisted that I get my coffee free because they had messed up my order. Aside from the delicious coffee, this is the other reason that I love Starbucks. I've only had them mess my order up a few times ever, but each time they have gone out of their way to make up for it. The coffee may be on the expensive side, but the customer service is worth the experience.
